Prove where one batch came from,
and nothing else.
Waybill turns Zcash payment disclosures and Monero transaction proofs into one signed document. An exchange analyst checks it in a browser, hop by hop.
Waybill proves where one batch of ZEC or XMR came from, and nothing else.
One batch, one route
Waybill shows the route of the coins you are selling, from source to deposit. Every other note, balance and counterparty in the wallet stays shielded.
Shown: the source, each hop, the amount and the date. Sealed: everything outside that route. It is never written into the file, so it cannot leak from it.

Pick, prove, sign
Five steps from the coins you hold to a file the desk can check.
-
01
Pick the coins
Choose the notes you want to sell, then pick the source to prove, such as a 2021 withdrawal from a regulated exchange.
-
02
Gather the proofs
For ZEC, Waybill builds payment disclosures for those notes only. For XMR, it collects transaction keys with OutProofs and SpendProofs.
-
03
Sign one document
The proofs and a plain-language summary are signed into one file. It holds only the hops you chose.
-
04
Checked in a browser
The analyst opens the file in a static web verifier. Each hop shows the amount, the date and a pass or fail result.
-
05
Export tax lots
Every waybill also exports a tax-lot CSV with cost basis by source and date. Hand it to your accountant before the year closes on 31 December.
Checked in a browser
The analyst opens the file in a static web verifier. Each hop shows the amount, the date and a pass or fail result. No node, wallet or cryptography background is needed.
Paid per document
There is no token at launch, and $WAYB is a reserved name, not an issued asset. Holders pay per document in ZEC, XMR or USDC, and exchanges license the verifier.
- Ticker
- $WAYB
- Type
- Reserved name. No asset is issued.
- Chain
- None for a token. Proofs are built client-side from Zcash and Monero wallets.
- Launch
- No token launch. The product does not need one.
- Holding it
- Does nothing today, because there is nothing to hold.
- Pricing
- Per document, in ZEC, XMR or USDCExchanges license the static verifier.
Two dates ahead
Tax year 2026 closes on 31 December. EU rules bar exchanges from handling anonymity-enhancing coins from July 2027. A deposit with a checkable route is the clean way to sell before either date.

What is still unresolved
Waybill is a concept build. These are the open problems, stated plainly. A waybill never guarantees that a deposit is accepted. The desk decides.
- 01
Will an exchange accept a waybill?
Not yet known. No exchange or compliance vendor has agreed to the format. Without that, a waybill is a well-signed PDF.
- 02
What if EU rules reject disclosed coins too?
AMLR may bar even disclosed ZEC and XMR from EU exchanges. Then Waybill is useful for tax and audit records only.
- 03
Could wallets or analytics firms build this?
Yes. A Zcash wallet or a compliance vendor could ship a native version. Waybill is open source, so the format can travel either way.
- 04
Is this surveillance with extra steps?
It is a disclosure you choose to make, for one batch. Nothing outside the route goes into the file. Some holders will choose not to disclose at all, and that is a fair choice.
- 05
What if the verifier passes a bad hop?
That is an open liability. The verifier checks that each proof matches the transaction it names. It does not judge where funds were before the proven source.
- 06
Is the Zcash side ready?
Not yet. Zcash payment disclosure (ZIP-311) is specified but rarely built into wallets. Monero transaction proofs already exist in its wallet RPC. Zcash comes first.
A waybill covers one batch of coins.
The analyst sees each hop from source to deposit. The rest of the wallet stays shielded.
Early access starts with the Zcash build: the desktop app that writes the waybill and the browser verifier that reads it. It is for holders who want to sell and for desks that receive shielded deposits. This page is a concept build, so there is no sign-up form yet. The name to watch is waybill.fun.
